What is your favorite quote?

"I was born for a storm, and a calm does not suit me." - Andrew Jackson.   That is how I feel about life.  If I see a problem or issue that needs to be addressed, I am fully invested in giving it my full attention with the hopes of building a better business, building stronger relationships, and building a brighter future.  The stormy side of doing the right thing doesn’t scare me; rather, the battle drives my energy to make a difference.

What do you enjoy doing most when you’re not at work?

Anything outside.  I love the sun and enjoy running, swimming, and biking to get out of the house.  I have three kids who participate in track and field, so I spend most of my free time driving them to their various track and field practices.  Then I get to enjoy sitting at track meets watching them compete...more time outside!

Who has been the most influential person in your career?

My father.  He was a successful entrepreneur who has always been a source of helpful words and wisdom throughout my career.  His own experiences and guidance have been a source of inspiration to fuel my desire to work with and help grow independent businesses, which is why I chose to join Farpointe and its community of independent business owners. Throughout his career, I have watched how his core principals and values have translated into business success.  The key was his ability to combine his passion and work ethic with unwavering values of honesty, integrity, kindness, and perseverance; all values we share at Farpointe.
